If you’re travelling to central and northern parts of New Brunswick today including Fredericton, be prepared for tricky driving conditions.
Environment Canada has issued snow and freezing rain warnings for those areas of the province.
Meteorologist Geoffrey Hilliard says conditions in southern areas including Moncton, Saint John and St. Stephen won’t be as severe.
“For southern New Brunswick, you’ll see a transition from some light flurries to ice pellets and freezing rain as well but the duration won’t be as long… more intermittent… and then there will be a changeover to rain,” he notes.
Hilliard says the messy weather is expected to wrap up later tonight and conditions will improve for the remainder of the Easter weekend.
