Tropical Shipping Moving Operations From Saint John To Halifax

The Port of Saint John is losing one of its customers to Halifax.

The last Tropical Shipping sailing from the port in Saint John will be on December 27 and the company will be moving its port operations to the Halterm Container terminal in Nova Scotia’s capital city January 9.

They have been with the Port of Saint John for 15 years.

The company says, in a news release, that they believe this move will better align them when it comes to shipping from the Canadian market to Florida, the Bahamas and the Carribean.
