Trudeau And Higgs Discuss Priorities

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier Blaine Higgs spoke over the phone Monday morning about shared priorities.

The PM reaffirmed his commitment to work collaboratively with the premier and the provincial government.

The two leaders talked about climate change, flood mitigation, softwood lumber and the potential closure of Clinic 554 in Fredericton, N.B.

Trudeau says they pledge to work together on these matters and look forward to meeting in person soon.
