Facing many questions on the struggling economy, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaking from the Liberal cabinet retreat in Saint Andrew’s.
He was asked if they will consider running deficits higher than $10 billion dollars in order to create some growth.
He says they have always talked about how Canada has a low debt to GDP ratio which gives them an opporotunity to invest but they also want to ensure that the debt to GDP ratio keeps decreasing.
Trudeau says the cabinet are hearing from experts around the world on how to deliver an ambitious agenda.
The Prime Minister is attending a community dinner at a Saint Andrew’s arena tonight before the retreat wraps up tomorrow morning.
