New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird will miss the upcoming major league season because of a damaged right shoulder that needs surgery. Bird hit 11 homers with 31 R-B-I’s in just 157 times at bat.
Canadian professional wrestler Bret “The Hitman” Hart, who’s 58, has prostate cancer and will be undergoing surgery. Hart suffered a stroke back in 2002.
