Canadian tennis player Denis Shapovalov, who’s considered an up and comer, has been fined $7 thousand U.S. for hitting an umpire in the eye with a ball he whacked out of frustration during a Davis Cup match against Britain. Shapovalov apologised for his temper tantrum, calling it unprofessional and inexcusable. He also sought out the umpire to personally offer an apology.
