You’re going to need shovels and snowblowers to survive this week’s storm, which is expected to dump heavy, wet snow on the area Tuesday night.
That’s from Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote.
He says snow is likely to begin around 6 o’clock Tuesday with the brunt of the snowfall taking place overnight.
“We’re looking at total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 centimetres,” says Cote. “On Wednesday with the winds shifting around to the southwest, temperature rising above freezing, looks like we’ll see some showers or wet flurries pretty much throughout the day on Wednesday.”
Cote says it’s not likely to be very cold for this storm, with the temperature hovering around the freezing mark.
