Two Arrested After Drugs, Weapons Seized: Police

Two people have been arrested after drugs and weapons were seized in Saint John as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police said officers executed a search warrant Thursday at a home on the city’s east side.

Items seized include illegal drugs in pill form, cocaine, illegal weapons including a firearm, thousands of contraband cigarettes, and thousands of dollars in cash.

Police say a man in his 20s and a woman in her 30s were taken into custody and are facing charges.
