Two Arrested In Theft Investigation

Police say a theft investigation in Charlotte County has led to two arrests and the seizure of stolen property.

Mounties say it all started when they received a report of mischief and theft of parts from a snowmobile trail groomer in the McDougall Lake area.

Police say officers searched a home on Route 127 in Chamcook last Thursday and recovered several stolen items, including a firearm, power tools, vehicle parts and electronics.

A 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were arrested and have a July court date.

Mounties say they are working to determine if any of the seized items are associated with other reported thefts.
