A 32 year old Grand Bay-Westfield man has been arrested after the RCMP searched a home on Woolastook Drive in Grand Bay-Westfield, confiscating 28 marijuana plants at various stages of growth, hash oil and equipment used to produce hash oil as well as stolen property. Police estimate that number of plants could have produced up to 14,000 marijuana joints.
In Sussex Corner, the RCMP arrested a man and woman, both 41, after seizing a quantity of drugs following the search of a home on Meadow Crescent. Police say they confiscated 9 firearms and about 150 pills believed to be methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
