A car crash on the east side sent two people to hospital Saturday.
Saint John Police responded to a two vehicle accident on Mount Pleasant Avenue East around 9:20 a.m. Saturday morning.
A 78-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman were taken to hospital with serious injuries. They have since been released.
The female occupant of the second vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
Two occupants also fled on foot. They were soon found at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where one of them, a 30-year-old man, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
An investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
