City Police are investigating a robbery that took place on Leinster Street. Sergeant Lori Magee fills us in.
An elderly man answering the door was pushed to the floor by two masked men who made off with some money. The man’s wife was also hurt in the scuffle.
Major Crime is also investigating a stabbing on Anglin Drive. A 29 year old man sustained injuries but is not co-operating with the police investigation.
Police also reporting a window was smashed out of the Shoppers Drug Mart on Lansdowne Avenue and a quantity of electronic devices was stolen.
