An investigation into malicious emails continues both by the RCMP and Universite de Moncton.
The school confirmed to us this morning that yesterday, a seventh and eighth email were received from the same source, but they were deleted by the IT department.
They also noted that they would not be providing anymore details, in an effort not to interfere with the RCMP investigation.
The first of the sexually explicit emails were received on Saturday…and targetted a woman, who is a student at the school, but they were sent to thousands of students.
President and Vice-Chancellor Raymond Theberge says they have traced the emails to a server in Europe. RCMP say they have identified a suspect, but no further details have been released.
