A 21-year-old man from Cumberland Bay and a 39-year-old woman from Fredericton are dead following a head-on collision in Welsford.
The car, driven by the man, crossed the centre line on Route 7 in Welsford and collided head-on with the car driven by the woman.
Both drivers died at the scene and there were no passengers in the vehicles.
The road was closed in both directions for five hours.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
