City Police are investigating two armed robberies.
The first one happened at the TD Canada Trust bank at Eastpoint. An armed man wearing a balaclava got away on foot and later a woman, armed with a knife, held up the bar at the Park Plaza Motel on Rothesay Avenue. Police tracked her by following her footprints in the snow and made an arrest in Glen Falls.
In the K-V, a woman escaped injury after her car knocked down the flagpole on Hampton Road in the vicinity of Sobeys. Traffic was blocked off for about 45 minutes.
