One Home Destroyed After Weekend Fire

No one was injured, but two St. Stephen residents were displaced after a house fire destroyed their two-storey home, and damaged a neighboring building Saturday.

According to the Red Cross, the two displaced residents are staying with a relative, while those living in the second building on Murchie Avenue were also temporarily forced to leave their home.

St. Stephen fire crews had been busy the night before as well, when a fire in an apartment building just north of town in Moores Mills occurred around 11 p.m. on Friday.

That fire led to one man being displaced.

No one was injured in either fire.
