A news conference is planned for this morning to address the issue of malicious emails that have been sent to students at the Universite De Moncton.
A crowd of students gathered at the university last night to protest and are looking for action from the university.
A total of eight emails have been sent. The last two were deleted by the IT Department, but at least the first three went to thousands of students, and targeted a woman who is a student at the university. They have also been described as sexually explicit.
The RCMP have launched an investigation.
The University President and Vice Chancellor Raymond Theberge will give an update this morning at 10am.
