The administration at U-N-B has consulted with the School of Graduate Studies, the Registrar’s Offices, the International Student Advisor’s Office and Global Learning and Engagement to develop measures to assist students affected by the U.S. travel ban.

The NDP critic for immigration and refugees, Jenny Kwan charges there’s racial profiling at play here and points to the case of a young woman who was heading to the U.S. for a spa day with her friends but was interrorgated for 6 hours before being denied entry. Kwan goes on to say a student was asked for her political opinion of President Donald Trump and why she visited her mosque so often.
