U.S. And Canada In Nasty Trade Dispute

The massive 219 per cent U.S. tariff on the new line of Bombardier jets is causing a backlash in both Canada and Britain where jobs are under threat in Northern Ireland.

Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland says the Bombardier trade dispute is separate from the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement where she says great progress is being made but tough issues still lie ahead.

Having said that, Freeland concedes the Trump Administration is in her words “unconventional” with its America First stance.

Both Canada and the U-K are warning Boeing may lose contracts over this.
