A large crowd of veterans and others coming out to see the unveiling of banners featuring the faces of many different soldiers that will flown this month on the West side.
Faye Yeomans Colwell was happy to stand beside a banner featuring her father Ronald Yeomans.
She tells CHSJ News we need to honour these men and women because they gave everything.
She says we are very lucky to live in this country and grateful for the service of all veterans.
One of the banners pays tribute to David Greenslade from Saint John who died in Afghanistan.
The project was put together by the Branch 69 Legion, Saint John Energy and the Regional Chamber.
They already has a waitlist of names for next year.
