Up To 30 Centimetres Of Snow Expected To Fall On Much Of NB

While much of the province is under a snowfall warning with up to 30 centimetres expected by the end of the day tomorrow, Saint Johners probably won’t have to break out the snowblowers this weekend.

Environment Canada meteorologist Jean-Marc Couturier tells us the intense low pressure system is expected only to bring a few centimetres to our city in the overnight hours from Sunday night to Monday morning. AccuWeather meantime predicting that over 10 centimetres of snow will fall on the city tomorrow along with eight millimetres of rain.

Winds meantime are expected to gust up to 70 kilometres an hour tomorrow.

Couturier says that the system should be dissipating on Monday.
