The upcoming cruise season will be a busy one with a 13-percent increase in the number of cruise ship calls over last year.
It’s the 30th cruise season at Port Saint John and it begins on May 1 when the Marina sails into the harbour and finishes up on November 2 with the Seven Seas Navigator.
There are 75 ships slated to visit the city bringing a total of 246,000 and crew. That is an increase of 19-percent in passengers over 2017.
Port Saint John president Jim Quinn says in a release that this year they will have their fourth consecutive year of growth.
