A 20 year old Hampton man in court in relation to the death of Jessica Ann Miller.
Wearing a white jail-issued jumpsuit Jesse Edward Reynolds sat in the prisoner’s box with his head down.
He was charged with offering an indignity to a dead body.
20 year old Jessica Miller was report missing on Sunday after not being heard from since Friday.
The crime occurred sometime between last Thursday and Monday.
Crown prosecutor Jim McAvity opposed the release of Reynolds on any grounds.
Reynolds will stay in jail until a court appearance on August 4th unless Defense Lawyer David Lutz requests bail.
Miller’s body was found in the woods near Prince of Wales off Highway 1 west of Saint John.
The RCMP tell us nothing has been ruled out in terms of more charges or more people being involved in this crime.
