A man from South Carolina is determined to ensure actress Betty White makes it to 2017.
White will turn 95 in January, and with the number of celebrities who have passed in 2016. Demetrios Hrysikos decided to do something to make sure White’s name wasn’t added to the list.
He launched a Go Fund Me page with the initial goal of $2,000, and stated, “If she is okay with it, I will fly to wherever Betty White is, and keep her safe until January 1st of 2017.”
But it’s obvious that there are a lot of people who have the same goal in mind.
Donations have been pouring in, and as of Friday morning, over $8400 had been raised.
Because of the outpouring of support he says the money will be donated to a South Carolina theatre, that provides opportunities to local talent.
