UPDATE: Police identify woman after concern over well-being

Saint John police say they have located a woman whose well-being they were concerned for.

The police force asked for the public’s help to identify the woman on Wednesday.

She was captured on video surveillance in the area of King’s Square on Feb. 2.

Police said they were concerned for her well-being and believed she may have been a witness in an ongoing investigation.

In an update Saturday morning, police said the woman was located on Friday and confirmed to be safe.
