UPDATE: Reward Offered In Maine Manhunt

A reward is now being offered after the murder of a Sheriff’s Deputy in Norridgewock, Maine.

In a tweet, the FBI in Boston, along with Maine State Police and the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of 29 year old John Williams.

Police believe Williams shot and killed Corporal Eugene Cole in the early morning hours of April 25th, in Norridgewock, which is about an hour east of Bangor, Maine.

Officials believe Williams also stole Cole’s marked cruiser, committed a theft at a convenience store, and then abandoned the vehicle.

Williams is considered armed and dangerous. He’s described at 5’6″, 120 lbs, with blue eyes, brown hair, and multiple tattoos.

If you see Williams, you’re told to not approach him and call 911 immediately.
