One of the RCMP officers who was shot and killed Wednesday night in Moncton was a Saint Johnner, 40 year old Constable Douglas James Larche.
Another of the dead constables was originally from France, 45 year old Fabrice Georges Gevaudan and 32 year old Dave Ross, originally from Quebec, who worked as a dog handler. He was the father of a 19 month old child and his widow is expecting another child.
