The source of an odour at Shopper’s on Crown was likely sewer gas.
City fire crews were called to the scene about 12:15pm today.
The drug store and the medical clinic were evacuated.
Readings taken by the fire crews and Enbridge Gas confirmed it was not a natural gas leak.
Platoon Chief Kevin Forrest tells CHSJ News the all clear was given before 2 today and the Shopper’s staff were allowed back in.
