UPDATE: Stolen delivery vehicle recovered, say police

Police say a delivery vehicle stolen in uptown Saint John earlier this month has been recovered.

Saint John police said the blue 2023 Dodge Caravan was found unoccupied in Caledonia on Tuesday.

The vehicle was stolen from the 20-block of Germain Street on the morning of May 1 while the owner was delivering packages.

“The van contained a number of Amazon packages that were stolen with the van,” police said in a news release at the time.

Hours after the vehicle was stolen, police said the owner’s bank card that was inside the van was used to make fraudulent transactions in the Moncton area.

No word on if any of the Amazon packages were recovered.
