UPDATE: Stolen loader found, say police

Saint John police say a piece of machinery stolen on the city’s east side over the weekend has been found.

Police say a loader was taken from a parking lot in the 900-block of Grandview Avenue on Sunday.

At around 10 p.m. Monday, a citizen called police reporting they located what they believed to be the stolen loader abandoned at the end of Doyles Lane.

“Police attended the scene and confirmed it was the stolen loader,” the police force said Tuesday.

The loader was initially spotted at the end of Doyles Lane at around 11 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
