A man has been charged with robbing the Korner Grocery convenience store in uptown Saint John.
On Wednesday morning police say a man came into the store on Princess Street with a handgun demanding money and police made an arrest after a short foot chase.
26-year-old Kyle Maguire is currently facing charges of robbery and being disguised with intent in the Korner Grocery robbery.
Saint John police tell CHSJ News the man arrested for robbing Korner Grocery will also be charged with the armed robbery at Sam’s Variety at the corner of Carmarthen and Duke on Monday morning.
Maguire has been remanded to jail until next Thursday.
