Uptown Saint John has named a new Executive-Director and she’s local. Nancy Tissington will start her new job on September 2nd.
She’s originally from Rothesay and most recently served as Executive-Director of the Spring Garden Area Business Association in Halifax whose primary focus was to revitalise the urban core. Another part of her job was to cultivate partnerships that would make the commercial district better.
The Spring Garden area is viewed one of the busiest retail streets east of Montreal by people on foot.
She also makes yearly trips to Guatemala to support orphanages.
