Vehicle Crashes Into Tree In Queen Square West

A 19-year-old man has been arrested for impaired driving after a crash in west Saint John.

Police say they were called to the collision in Queen Square West around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

“A caller reported that a single vehicle was driving through Queen Square West when it collided with a tree,” police said in a news release on Tuesday.

The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital and later released.

Police said the man was also arrested and released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
