Vehicles Doing Burnouts Raise Concern For KV Police

Police in Quispamsis and Rothesay say they are dealing with an ongoing problem of vehicles doing burnouts.

The Kennebecasis Regional Police Force said the burnouts are occurring at intersections during the overnight hours.

“They are not only damaging the roadways and freshly painted lines but are creating a serious public safety concern at the same time,” police said in a statement.

Police ask anyone who sees or hears someone doing this to contact them immediately at 506-847-6300.

Residents are asked to make note of the date, time, location, vehicle and driver description, and license plate number if it is safe to do so.
