Vehicles Towed In South-Central Peninsula For Violating Parking Ban

City Police reporting more than 20 vehicles will wind up being towed from the South-Central Peninsula for violating the 8 hour on-street parking ban which city crews to remove the snow from Tuesday’s storm.

Police also towing away a vehicle for further investigation after firefighters discovered it ablaze at the Superstore parking lot on Somerset Street. Two adjacent vehicles sustained minor heat damage.

The fire department also reporting to a two vehicle collision on Sandy Point Road involving an ambulance but there were no injuries. Road conditions were described as poor at the time of the crash.
