Saint John restaurant owner and chef Jesse Vergen is also known for appearing on reality tv.
He gives Top Chef Canada another shot starting Sunday when the All Stars edition debuts on Food Network Canada.
Vergen tells us why he wants to give it another go.
He says it was very humbling to be offered this experience again and he couldn’t pass it up.
He finished in the Top 4 last time and tells us making dessert is a challenge but he feels pretty confident with seafood.
Vergen would not want to work with green peppers calling them the “fruit of the devil”.
He says they taste horrible and he would have a tough time tasting the dish if he drew green peppers.
You can hear our full interview with Jesse Vergen on Pulse NB tomorrow morning.
