VIDEO: Record Numbers Come To Saint John’s Remembrance Day Ceremony

Record numbers filling Harbour Station for the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.

The sounds of the Last Post, O Canada and Abide with Me filling the arena.

Squadron Leader Bruce Carter of the New Zealand air force did a lot of his training in Canada.

He says he was very impressed with the good turnout and he’s glad to see the public recognize the veterans.

Master of Ceremonies Bernard Cormier says he has never seen it so full and they expected a show of unity.

In previous years, a section of 158 seats was left empty to acknowlege the Afghaniston vets but since that war is over they were opened up.
