Environment Canada is predicting that generally for the rest of the month temperatures will be above normal for Saint John by two to four degrees which meteorologist Claude Cote says is quite significant.
As for September Cote tells us the latest forecast has a moderate probability of above normal conditions saying usually we see afternoon temperatures near 18 degrees and 8 overnight.
Cote notes that while there’s been a heat wave over mostly inland areas of New Brunswick recently the highest temperature in Saint John so far this summer has been 27.9 degrees and that was on August 16.
