Warning About Lyme Disease And Ticks

The risk of getting bitten by a tick and being afflicted with Lyme Disease is highest in southern New Brunswick according to Public Health. The warning is based on reports and provincial tick surveillance.

The areas considered to be at highest risk are Saint John, Grand Bay-Westfield, Rothesay, Quispamsis, Grand Manan, St. Stephen, Saint Andrews and St. George.
