In the Majors, Jose Bautista extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a go ahead, three run double in the seventh inning as the Blue Jays rallied to beat the Chicago Cubs 9-2….The Yankees lost to Tampa Bay 4-3….In the wildcard, the Jays are 4 and a half games out and the Yankees trail by 5 and a half….The Red Sox lost to Baltimore 4-1 and Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia could face surgery as he suffers from soreness in his left hand and wrist that kept him out of the lineup.

In the A-L Central, Detroit over Kansas City 4-2 to move into a tie with the Royals for first.

In the National League West, the Giants trail the Dodgers by 2 and a half games after a 5-1 win over Arizona while Los Angeles lost to San Diego 6-3.

Buffalo Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula reaching an agreement to buy the NFL’s Buffalo Bills for 1.4 billion dollars with the intent of keeping them in Buffalo.
