An apartment fire on the West side leaving 11 people temporarily homeless.
The Saint John Fire Department says firefighters arriving on the scene at 404 Prince Street finding heavy black smoke in the back of the building and were able to contain the fire to the one apartment.
Crews on the scene for about three hours and the SJFD say the almost-dozen people displaced being helped out by the Red Cross.
