Looking on my wacky calendar this morning, I noticed that February 3rd (one week from Today) is the midway point of winter. It is true that this is not my favorite season, but you make the best of it with activities like Fundy Winterfest and you can find that schedule right here on this site. I guess it gets frustrating with days and days of snowfall and really cold weather. I mean, I’ve had more of a relationship with my snow-blower this month, than my wife! It also doesn’t help when you get friends posting pics on the socials from warm locations as well as my own memories, showing me lounging in a pool in the Bahamas! (the ocean was warmer than the pool!)
I guess we’ll all figure out the true end of winter on Monday when the true science will be revealed by the groundhog. Till then, stay warm and enjoy winters’ second act.
