What’s closed in Greater Saint John for Thanksgiving

Here’s a list of closures and service changes in Saint John and surrounding communities on Monday.

Saint John

  • City Hall, as well as city offices on Adelaide Street and Rothesay Avenue will be closed.
  • The Saint John City Market will be closed.
  • Saint John Transit will not be operating.
  • Garbage and compost will be collected as usual. Please contact Miller Waste for information regarding recycling collection.
  • McAllister Place will be closed.
  • The Canada Games Aquatic Centre will be operating on holiday hours, open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Swimming lessons and fitness classes are not running.
  • The YMCA will be open for regular hours.
  • The Irving Oil Field House will be closed.
  • All branches of the Saint John Free Public Library will be closed.

Quispamsis

  • Town Hall will be closed.
  • Kennebecasis Public Library will be closed.

Rothesay

  • Town Hall will be closed.

Grand Bay-Westfield

  • Town Hall will be closed.

Hampton

  • Town Hall will be closed.

St. Stephen

  • Municipal District Office will be closed.
  • Garcelon Civic Center will be open for regular hours.

Saint Andrews

  • Town Hall will be closed.
