Where Are The Worst Roads In Atlantic Canada

The snow is melting and the potholes are in full bloom.

Which means it’s time for CAAs sixth annual Worst Roads campaign.

CAA’s Gary Howard says people in Atlantic Canada can vote for whichever road they feel is in the worst shape.

“It’s really to provide a forum for motorists, pedestrians and government to talk about the importance of our roads. And primarily, point out those roads that are in the worst condition.”

Howard says CAA doesn’t choose any of the roads – that is entirely up to the voters.

“We do see a lot of rallying. It brings attention to the importance of our roads for our economy, for our safety and so on. It also gives our provincial governments an opportunity to say, yes we know, we understand and here are our plans.”

Howard says the results are shared with governments of all the Atlantic provinces.

Voting closes April 21.

You can cast your vote on the CAA Worst Roads webpage or by linking to it from the CAA Facebook Page.
