A 19 year old Saint John man back before a judge on charges of murder and assault relating to two incidents, one in November and one on New Year’s Eve.
Brodie John White is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of 22 year old Ross Joseph Veneau who was found injured at a home on the West side.
Veneau died days later in hospital from his injuries.
White does not have a lawyer yet and he was told by the judge to apply for legal aid right away.
He is also facing an assault charge relating to an incident involving Bianca Symonds from November.
White will be sentenced for that matter in a scheduled court appearance on Thursday.
