Three New Brunswickers and one organization have been honoured at the 2024 Disability Awareness Week Awards.
Rothesay doctor Shawn Jennings was the recipient of the Honourable Andy Scott Award.
Christine Evans, the president of Saint John’s Key Industries, received the Employer Award.
Kourtney Stevenson of Moncton was given the individual Provincial Award, while Moncton Community Residences received the organization Provincial Award.
Presented by the Premier’s Council on Disabilities, the awards honour those who have made a significant contribution toward improving the lives of people with disabilities.
