Several options being presented to Common Council on winter parking restrictions and what changes can be made because the status quo is not seen as being acceptable.
One recommended option is to have two parking bans, one for the South-Central Peninsula and the other for the rest of the city.
The other option that’s recommended would see alternate side parking delayed if the weather gets stormy.
City Staff say the best option is to have no on street parking or parking on just one side of the street instead of changing over each month. The city also believes more off street parking could be used.
