Wintry Weather Forecast For Tuesday

Dig out your gloves and winter hat — we could be in for some wintry weather on Tuesday.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for all of New Brunswick.

Forecasters say snow will develop in the morning ahead of a low pressure system and change to rain as the day goes on.

Places like the Kennebecasis Valley, Sussex and Fredericton should only see about five centimetres of snow, but northwestern New Brunswick could see more than 15 centimetres.

We are not expecting any snow in Saint John or St. Stephen, but we could see some freezing rain in the morning.

Another round of strong winds and plunging temperatures are expected on Wednesday.
