Woman Arrested In Connection With U-Haul Thefts: Police

Police say a woman has been taken into custody in connection with the theft of several U-Haul vehicles in Saint John.

In a news release Thursday, police said three U-Haul vehicles were reported stolen from a Rothesay Avenue business on Aug. 9.

They said an officer on patrol found a suspect vehicle on Tuesday night and arrested the driver.

The 25-year-old woman was later released on conditions and has a court date set for Nov. 18.

Police said two of the three vehicles stolen have been recovered to date.
