Woman Seriously Injured In Uptown Incident

Saint John police are investigating an incident which left a woman with serious injuries.

Police say they responded to a medical assist call at a Pitt Street home around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

Jim Hennessy, a spokesperson for the police force, said a 38-year-old woman is recovering in hospital.

Hennessy said no one is in custody and the Major Crime Unit is investigating.

Police did not release any details about the incident.
